Psalm 125

Ps 125,1   Ein Lied im höheren Chor. Die auf JAHWEH hoffen, die werden nicht fallen, sondern ewig bleiben wie der Berg Zion.
KJV + EL = A Song of degrees. They that trust in YAHWEH shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides forever.

Ps 125,2   Um Jerusalem her sind Berge, und JAHWEH ist um sein Volk her von nun an bis in Ewigkeit.
KJV + EL = As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so YAHWEH is round about his people from this time forth and for ever.
Ps 36,7

Ps 125,3 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = Denn das Zepter der Gesetzlosigkeit wird nicht bleiben auf dem Lose der Gerechten, auf daß die Gerechten ihre Hand nicht ausstrecken zur Ungerechtigkeit.
KJV + EL = For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

Ps 125,4   O JAHWEH, tue wohl den guten und frommen Herzen!
KJV + EL = Do good, O YAHWEH, to those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

Ps 125,5   Die aber abweichen auf ihre krummen Wege, wird JAHWEH wegtreiben mit den Übeltätern. Friede sei über Israel!
KJV + EL = As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, YAHWEH shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

Psalm 126

Ps 126,1   Ein Lied im höhern Chor. WENN JAHWEH DIE GEFANGENEN ZIONS ERLÖSEN WIRD, SO WERDEN WIR SEIN WIE DIE TRÄUMENDEN.
KJV + EL = A Song of degrees. When YAHWEH turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
Ps 14,7

Ps 126,2   Dann wird unser Mund voll Lachens und unsere Zunge voll Rühmens sein. Da wird man sagen unter den Heiden: JAHWEH hat Großes an ihnen getan!
KJV + EL = Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the nations, YAHWEH has done great things for them.

Ps 126,3   JAHWEH hat Großes an uns getan; des sind wir fröhlich.
KJV + EL = YAHWEH has done great things for us; we are glad.

Ps 126,4   O JAHWEH, bringe wieder unsere Gefangenen, wie du die Bäche wiederbringst im Mittagslande.
KJV + EL = Turn again our captivity, O YAHWEH, as the streams in the south.

Ps 126,5   Die mit Tränen säen, werden mit Freuden ernten.
KJV + EL = They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Matth 5,4

Ps 126,6   Sie gehen hin und weinen und tragen edlen Samen und kommen mit Freuden und bringen ihre Garben.
KJV + EL = He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Psalm 127

Ps 127,1   Ein Lied Salomos im höhern Chor. Wo JAHWEH nicht das Haus baut, so arbeiten umsonst, die daran bauen. Wo JAHWEH nicht die Stadt behütet, so wacht der Wächter umsonst.
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = A Song of degrees of Solomon. Except YAHWEH shall build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except YAHWEH shall keep the city, the watchman awakes but in vain.

Ps 127,2   Es ist umsonst, daß ihr früh aufstehet und hernach lange sitzet und esset euer Brot mit Sorgen; denn seinen Freunden gibt er's schlafend.
KJV + EL = It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep.

Ps 127,3   Siehe, Kinder sind eine Gabe JAHWEH’s, und Leibesfrucht ist ein Geschenk.
KJV + EL = Lo, children are an heritage of YAHWEH: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Ps 127,4   Wie die Pfeile in der Hand des Starken, also geraten die jungen Knaben.
KJV + EL = As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Ps 127,5   Wohl dem, der seinen Köcher derselben voll hat! Die werden nicht zu Schanden, wenn sie mit ihren Feinden handeln im Tor.
KJV + EL = Happy is the man that has his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Psalm 128

Ps 128,1   Ein Lied im höhern Chor. Wohl dem, der JAHWEH fürchtet und auf seinen Wegen geht!
KJV + EL = A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that fears YAHWEH; that walks in his ways.

Ps 128,2   Du wirst dich nähren deiner Hände arbeit; wohl dir, du hast es gut.
KJV + EL = For you shall eat the labor of your hands: happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you.

Ps 128,3   Dein Weib wird sein wie ein fruchtbarer Weinstock drinnen in deinem Hause, deine Kinder wie Ölzweige um deinen Tisch her.
KJV + EL = Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house: your children like olive plants round about your table.
Ps 127,3

Ps 128,4   Siehe, also wird gesegnet der Mann, der JAHWEH fürchtet.
KJV + EL = Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that fears YAHWEH.

Ps 128,5   JAHWEH wird dich segnen aus Zion, daß du sehest das Glück Jerusalems dein Leben lang
KJV + EL = YAHWEH shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

Ps 128,6   und sehest deiner Kinder Kinder. Friede über Israel!
KJV + EL = Yes, you shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.
Ps 125,5

Psalm 129

Ps 129,1   Ein Lied im höheren Chor. Sie haben mich oft gedrängt von meiner Jugend auf, so sage Israel,
KJV + EL = A Song of degrees. Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:

Ps 129,2   sie haben mich oft gedrängt von meiner Jugend auf; aber sie haben mich nicht übermocht.
KJV + EL = Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

Ps 129,3   Die Pflüger haben auf meinen Rücken geackert und ihre Furchen lang gezogen.
KJV + EL = The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
Jes 50,6; 51,23

Ps 129,4 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = JAHWEH, der gerecht ist, hat der Gesetzlosen Seile abgehauen.
KJV + EL = YAHWEH is righteous: he has cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

Ps 129,5   Ach daß müßten zu Schanden werden und zurückkehren (-weichen) alle, die Zion gram (hassen) sind!
KJV + EL = Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

Ps 129,6   Ach daß sie müßten sein wie das Gras auf den Dächern, welches verdorrt, ehe man es ausrauft,
KJV + EL = Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withers afore it grows up:

Ps 129,7   von welchem der Schnitter seine Hand nicht füllt noch der Garbenbinder seinen Arm
KJV + EL = With which the reaper fills not his hand; nor he that binds sheaves his bosom.

Ps 129,8   und die vorübergehen nicht sprechen: "Der Segen JAHWEH’s sei über euch! wir segnen euch im Namen JAHWEH’s"!
KJV + EL = Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of YAHWEH be upon you: we bless you in the name of YAHWEH.

Psalm 130

Ps 130,1   Ein Lied im höhern Chor. Aus der Tiefe rufe ich, O JAHWEH, zu dir.
KJV + EL = A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried to you, O YAHWEH.
Ps 69,3

Ps 130,2   O JAHWEH, höre auf meine Stimme, laß deine Ohren merken auf die Stimme meines Flehens!
KJV + EL = O YAHWEH, hear my voice: let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Ps 130,3   So du willst, JAHWEH, Sünden zurechnen, O JAHWEH, wer wird bestehen?
KJV + EL = If you, YAH, should mark iniquities, O YAHWEH, who shall stand?

Ps 130,4   Denn bei dir ist die Vergebung, daß man dich fürchte.

Ps 130,5   Ich harre JAHWEH’s; meine Seele harret, und ich hoffe auf sein Wort.

Ps 130,6   Meine Seele wartet auf JAHWEH von einer Morgenwache bis zur andern.
KJV + EL = My soul waits for YAHWEH more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Ps 130,7   Israel, hoffe auf JAHWEH! denn bei JAHWEH ist die Gnade und viel Erlösung bei ihm,
KJV + EL = Let Israel hope in YAHWEH: for with YAHWEH there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

Ps 130,8   und er wird Israel erlösen aus allen seinen Sünden.
KJV + EL = And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Psalm 131

Ps 131,1   Ein Lied Davids im höheren Chor. JAHWEH, mein Herz ist nicht hoffärtig, und meine Augen sind nicht stolz; ich wandle nicht in großen Dingen, die mir zu hoch sind.
KJV + EL = A Song of degrees of David. YAHWEH, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

Ps 131,2   Ja, ich habe meine Seele gesetzt und gestillt; so ist meine Seele in mir wie ein entwöhntes Kind bei seiner Mutter.
KJV + EL = Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Ps 131,3   Israel, hoffe auf JAHWEH von nun an bis in Ewigkeit!
KJV + EL = Let Israel hope in YAHWEH from this time forth and for evermore.

Psalm 132

Ps 132,1   Ein Lied im höhern Chor. Gedenke, JAHWEH, an David und all sein Leiden,
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = A Song of degrees. YAHWEH, remember David, and all his afflictions:

Ps 132,2   der JAHWEH schwur und gelobte dem Mächtigen Jakobs:
KJV + EL = How he swore to YAHWEH, and vowed unto the Mighty One of Jacob;
2. Sam 7

Ps 132,3   "Ich will nicht in die Hütte meines Hauses gehen noch mich aufs Lager meines Bettes legen,
KJV + EL = Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

Ps 132,4   ich will meine Augen nicht schlafen lassen noch meine Augenlider schlummern,
KJV + EL = I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids,

Ps 132,5   bis ich eine Stätte finde für JAHWEH, zur Wohnung des Mächtigen Jakobs."
KJV + EL = Until I find out a place for the YAHWEH, an habitation for the Mighty One of Jacob.

Ps 132,6   Siehe, wir hörten von ihr in Ephratha; wir haben sie gefunden auf dem Felde des Waldes.

Ps 132,9   Deine Priester laß sich kleiden mit Gerechtigkeit und deine Heiligen sich freuen.
KJV + EL = Let your priests be clothed with righteousness; and let your saints shout for joy.

Ps 132,10   Wende nicht weg das Antlitz deines Gesalbten um deines Knechtes David willen.
KJV + EL = For your servant David's sake turn not away the face of your anointed.

Ps 132,11   JAHWEH hat David einen wahren Eid geschworen, davon wird er sich nicht wenden: "Ich will dir auf deinen Thron setzen die Frucht deines Leibes.
KJV + EL = YAHWEH has sworn in truth to David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of your body will I set upon your throne.
Ps 89,4

Ps 132,12   Werden deine Kinder meinen Bund halten und mein Zeugnis, das ich sie lehren werde, so sollen auch ihre Kinder auf deinem Thron sitzen ewiglich."

Ps 132,13   Denn JAHWEH hat Zion erwählt und hat Lust, daselbst zu wohnen.

Ps 132,14   "Dies ist meine Ruhe ewiglich, hier will ich wohnen; denn es gefällt mir wohl.

Ps 132,15   Ich will ihre Speise segnen und ihren Armen Brot genug geben.
KJV + EL = I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Ps 132,16   Ihre Priester will ich mit Heil kleiden, und ihre Heiligen sollen fröhlich sein.

Ps 133,1   Ein Lied Davids im höheren Chor. Siehe, wie fein und lieblich ist's, daß Brüder einträchtig beieinander wohnen!
KJV + EL = A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Ps 133,2   wie der köstliche Balsam ist, der von Aaron Haupt herabfließt in seinen ganzen Bart, der herabfließt in sein Kleid,
KJV + EL = It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

Ps 133,3   wie der Tau, der vom Hermon herabfällt auf die Berge Zions. Denn daselbst verheißt JAHWEH Segen und Leben immer und ewiglich.

Psalm 134

Ps 134,1   Ein Lied im höhern Chor. Siehe, lobet JAHWEH, alle Knechte JAHWEH’s, die ihr stehet des Nachts im Hause JAHWEH’s!
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = A Song of degrees. Behold, bless you YAHWEH, all you servants of YAHWEH, which by night stand in the house of YAHWEH.

Ps 134,2   Hebet eure Hände auf im Heiligtum und lobet JAHWEH!
KJV + EL = Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless YAHWEH.

Ps 134,3   JAHWEH segne dich aus Zion, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat!
KJV + EL = YAHWEH that made heaven and earth bless you out of Zion.

Ps 135,1   HALLELUJA! LOBET DEN NAMEN JAHWEH’S, LOBET, IHR KNECHTE JAHWEH’S,
KJV + EL = HalleluYah. Praise you YAHWEH. Praise you the name of YAHWEH; praise him, O you servants of YAHWEH.

Ps 135,2   DIE IHR STEHT IM HAUSE JAHWEH’S, IN DEN HÖFEN DES HAUSES UNSERES GOTTES [ELOHIMS]!

Psalm 136

Ps 136,1 Danket JAHWEH; denn er ist freundlich, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich.

Ps 136,2   Danket dem Gott [Elohim] aller Götter [elohim], denn seine Güte währet ewiglich.

Ps 136,3   Danket dem Herrscher / HErrn aller Herren, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich,
KJV + EL = O give thanks to the sovereign of Rulers: for his mercy endures forever.

Ps 136,4   der große Wunder tut allein, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich;

Ps 136,5   der die Himmel weislich gemacht hat, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich;

Ps 136,8   Die Sonne, dem Tag vorzustehen, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich,
KJV + EL = The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endures forever:

Ps 136,9   den Mond und Sterne, der Nacht vorzustehen, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich;
KJV + EL = The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endures forever.

Ps 136,10   der Ägypten schlug an ihren Erstgeburten, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich

Ps 136,11   und führte Israel heraus, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich

Ps 136,12   durch mächtige Hand und ausgerecktem Arm, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich;

Ps 136,13   der das Schilfmeer teilte in zwei Teile, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich

Ps 136,14   und ließ Israel hindurchgehen, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich;
KJV + EL = And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endures forever:

Ps 136,15   der Pharao und sein Heer ins Schilfmeer stieß, denn seine Güte währet ewiglich;
KJV + EL = But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endures forever.

Ps 145,4   Kindeskinder werden deine Werke preisen und von deiner Gewalt sagen.
