Psalm 77
Ps 77,1 Ein Psalm Asaphs für Jeduthun, vorzusingen. Ich schreie mit meiner Stimme zu Gott [Elohim]; zu Gott [Elohim] schreie ich, und er erhört mich.
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph. I cried to Elohim with my voice, even to Elohim with my voice; and he gave ear to me.
Ps 62,1
Ps 77,2 In der Zeit der Not suche ich JAHWEH; meine Hand ist des Nachts ausgereckt und läßt nicht ab; denn meine Seele will sich nicht trösten lassen.
KJV + EL = In the day of my trouble I sought YAHWEH: My sore ran in the night, and ceased not: My soul refused to be comforted.
Ps 77,3 Wenn ich betrübt bin, so denke ich an Gott [Elohim]; wenn mein Herz in ängsten ist, so rede ich. (Sela.)
KJV + EL = I remembered Elohim, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.
Ps 77,4 Meine Augen hältst du, daß sie wachen; ich bin so ohnmächtig, daß ich nicht reden kann.
KJV + EL = You hold my eyes from waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
Ps 77,5 Ich denke der alten Zeit, der vorigen Jahre.
KJV + EL = I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
Ps 143,5
Ps 77,6 Ich denke des Nachts an mein Saitenspiel und rede mit meinem Herzen; mein Geist muß forschen.
KJV + EL = I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with my own hear; and my spirit made diligent search.
Ps 77,7 Wird denn JAHWEH ewiglich verstoßen und keine Gnade mehr erzeigen?
KJV + EL = Will YAHWEH cast off forever? And will he be favorable no more?
Ps 85,6
Ps 77,8 Ist's denn ganz und gar aus mit seiner Güte, und hat die Verheißung ein Ende?
KJV + EL = Is his mercy clean gone forever? Does his promise fail for evermore?
Ps 77,9 Hat Gott [El] vergessen, gnädig zu sein, und seine Barmherzigkeit vor Zorn verschlossen? (Sela.)
KJV + EL = Has El forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
Ps 77,10 Aber doch sprach ich: Ich muß das leiden; die rechte Hand des Höchsten kann alles ändern.
KJV + EL = And I said, This is my infirmity: But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.
Ps 77,11 Darum gedenke ich an die Taten JAHWEH’s; ja, ich gedenke an deine vorigen Wunder
KJV + EL = I will remember the works of YAHWEH: Surely I will remember your wonders of old.
Ps 77,12 und rede von allen deinen Werken und sage von (will sinnen über) deinem Tun.
KJV + EL = I will meditate also upon all your work, and ponder on your doings.
Ps 77,13 (14) KJV + ELBERFELDER + EL = DEIN WEG, O GOTT [ELOHIM], IST IM HEILIGTUM. LUTHER 1545 weiter: Wo ist so ein mächtiger Gott [El], als du, Gott [Elohim], bist?
KJV + EL = Your way, O Elohim, is in the sanctuary: Who is a great El like Elohim?
2. Mose 15,11
Ps 77,14 Du bist der Gott [El], der Wunder tut; du hast deine Macht bewiesen (Stärke kundwerden lassen) unter den Völkern.
KJV + EL = You are the El that does wonders: you have declared your strength among the people.
Ps 77,15 Du hast dein Volk erlöst mit Macht, die Kinder Jakobs und Josephs. (Sela.)
KJV + EL = You have with your arm redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
Ps 77,16 Die Wasser sahen dich, O Gott [Elohim], die Wasser sahen dich und ängsteten sich, und die Tiefen tobten.
KJV + EL = The waters saw you, O Elohim, the waters saw you; they were afraid: The depths also were troubled.
Ps 77,17 Die dicken Wolken gossen Wasser, die Wolken donnerten, und die Strahlen / deine Pfeile fuhren daher.
KJV + EL = The clouds poured out water: The skies sent out a sound: Your arrows also went abroad.
Ps 77,18 Es donnerte im Himmel, deine Blitze leuchteten auf dem Erdboden; das Erdreich regte sich und bebte davon.
KJV + EL = The voice of your thunder was in the heaven: The lightnings lighted up the world: the earth trembled and shook.
Ps 77,19 Dein Weg war im Meer und dein Pfad in großen Wassern, und man spürte doch deinen Fuß nicht.
KJV + EL = Your way is in the sea, and your path in the great waters, and your footsteps are not known.
Ps 77,20 Du führtest dein Volk wie eine Herde Schafe durch Mose und Aaron.
KJV + EL = You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Psalm 78
Ps 78,1 Eine Unterweisung Asaphs. Höre, mein Volk, mein Gesetz; neigt eure Ohren zu der Rede meines Mundes!
KJV + EL = Maschil of Asaph. Give ear, Oh my people, to my law: Incline your ear to the words of my mouth.
Ps 78,2 Ich will meinen Mund auftun zu Sprüchen (IN GLEICHNISSEN - KJV !) und alte Geschichten aussprechen,
KJV + EL = I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
Ps 49,4.5; Matth 13,35
Ps 78,3 die wir gehört haben und wissen und unsere Väter uns erzählt haben,
KJV + EL = Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
2. Mose 13,14; 5. Mose 4,9.10
Ps 78,4 daß wir's nicht verhalten sollten ihren Kindern, die hernach kommen, und verkündigten den Ruhm JAHWEH’s und seine Macht und seine Wunder, die er getan hat.
KJV + EL = We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of YAHWEH, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he has done.
Ps 78,5 Er richtete ein Zeugnis auf in Jakob und gab ein Gesetz in Israel, das er unsern Vätern gebot zu lehren ihre Kinder,
KJV + EL = For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
Ps 78,6 auf daß es die Nachkommen lernten und die Kinder, die noch sollten geboren werden; wenn sie aufkämen, daß sie es auch ihren Kinder verkündigten,
KJV + EL = That the generation to come might know them, even the children that should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
Ps 78,7 daß sie setzten auf Gott [Elohim] ihre Hoffnung und nicht vergäßen der Taten Gottes [El] und seine Gebote hielten
KJV + EL = That they might set their hope in Elohim, and not forget the works of El, but keep his commandments:
Ps 78,8 und nicht würden wie ihre Väter, eine abtrünnige und ungehorsame Art / ein widersetzliches und widerspenstiges Geschlecht, welchen ihr Herz nicht fest war und ihr Geist nicht treulich hielt an Gott [El],
KJV + EL = And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not steadfast with El.
5. Mose 32,5.6
Ps 78,9 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Die Söhne / Kinder Ephraims, gerüstete Bogenschützen, wandten um am Tage des Kampfes.
KJV + EL = The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
Ps 78,10 Sie hielten den Bund Gottes nicht und wollten nicht in seinem Gesetz wandeln
KJV + EL = They kept not the covenant of Elohim, and refused to walk in his law;
Ps 78,11 und vergaßen seiner Taten und seiner Wunder, die er ihnen gezeigt hatte.
KJV + EL = And forgot his works, and his wonders that he had shown them.
Ps 78,12 Vor ihren Vätern tat er Wunder in Ägyptenland, im Felde Zoan.
KJV + EL = Marvelous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
Jes 19,11
Ps 78,13 Er zerteilte das Meer und ließ sie hindurchgehen und stellte das Wasser wie eine Mauer.
KJV + EL = He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand up as a heap.
2. Mose 14,21.22
Ps 78,14 Er leitete sie des Tages mit einer Wolke und des Nachts mit einem hellen Feuer.
KJV + EL = In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.
2. Mose 13,21
Ps 78,15 Er riß die Felsen in der Wüste und tränkte sie mit Wasser die Fülle
KJV + EL = He split rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.
2. Mose 17,6; 4. Mose 20,7-11
Ps 78,16 und ließ Bäche aus den Felsen fließen, daß sie hinabflossen wie Wasserströme.
KJV + EL = He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.
Ps 78,17 Dennoch sündigten sie weiter gegen ihn und erzürnten den Höchsten in der Wüste
KJV + EL = And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the Most High in the wilderness.
Ps 78,18 und versuchten Gott [El] in ihrem Herzen, daß sie Speise forderten für ihre Seelen,
KJV + EL = And they tempted El in their heart by asking food for their desire.

Ps 78,19 UND REDETEN GEGEN GOTT [ELOHIM] UND SPRACHEN: "JA, SOLLTE WOHL GOTT [EL] EINEN TISCH BEREITEN KÖNNEN IN DER WÜSTE?
KJV + EL = Yes, they spoke against Elohim; they said, Can El furnish a table in the wilderness?
Ps 78,20 Siehe, er hat wohl den Felsen geschlagen, daß Wasser flossen und Bäche sich ergossen; aber wie kann er Brot geben und seinem Volk Fleisch verschaffen?"
KJV + EL = Behold, he struck the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
Ps 78,21 Da nun das JAHWEH hörte, entbrannte er, und Feuer ging an in Jakob, und Zorn kam über Israel,
KJV + EL = Therefore YAHWEH heard this, and was angry: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;
4. Mose 11,1
Ps 78,22 DASS SIE NICHT GLAUBTEN AN GOTT [ELOHIM] UND HOFFTEN NICHT AUF SEINE HILFE / VERTRAUTEN NICHT AUF SEINE RETTUNG.
KJV + EL = Because they believed not in Elohim, and trusted not in his salvation:
Ps 78,23 Und er gebot den Wolken droben und tat auf die Türen des Himmels
KJV + EL = Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,
Ps 78,24 und ließ das Manna auf sie regnen, zu essen, und gab ihnen Himmelsbrot.
KJV + EL = And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given food from heaven.
2. Mose 16,4.14.15
Ps 78,25 Sie aßen Engelbrot; er sandte ihnen Speise die Fülle.
KJV + EL = Man did eat angels' food: He sent them food to the full.
Ps 78,26 Er ließ wehen den Ostwind unter dem Himmel und erregte durch seine Stärke den Südwind
KJV + EL = He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.
Ps 78,27 und ließ Fleisch auf sie regnen wie Staub und Vögel wie Sand am Meer
KJV + EL = He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and winged birds like as the sand of the sea:
Ps 78,28 und ließ sie fallen unter ihr Lager allenthalben, da sie wohnten.
KJV + EL = And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.
Ps 78,29 Da aßen sie und wurden allzu satt; er ließ sie ihre Lust büßen.
KJV + EL = So they did eat, and were well filled: For he gave them their own desire;
Ps 78,30 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Noch hatten sie sich nicht abgewandt von ihrem Gelüst, noch war ihre Speise in ihrem Munde,
KJV + EL = They were not estranged from their lust. But while their food was yet in their mouths,
Ps 78,31 da kam der Zorn Gottes [Elohims] über sie und erwürgte die Vornehmsten unter ihnen und schlug darnieder die Besten / Auserlesenen / Jünglinge in Israel.
KJV + EL = The wrath of Elohim came upon them, and killed the fattest of them, and struck down the chosen / young men of Israel.
4. Mose 11,33
Ps 78,32 Aber über das alles sündigten sie noch mehr und glaubten nicht an seine Wunder / -werke.
KJV + EL = For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.
Ps 78,33 Darum ließ er sie dahinsterben, daß sie nichts erlangten und mußten ihr Leben lang geplagt sein.
ALBRECHT = Drum ließ er ihre Tage schwinden in Nichts / Und ihre Jahre in jäher Hast.*
* Anmerkung: bezieht sich darauf, daß alle Israeliten, die aus Ägypten gezogen waren, vom 20. Lebensjahr an, in der Wüste sterben sollten. Nur Josua und Kaleb blieben verschont. Vgl. 4. Mos. 14,28-34.
KJV + EL = Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.
4. Mose 14,23
Ps 78,34 WENN ER SIE TÖTETE, SUCHTEN SIE IHN UND KEHRTEN SICH ZU GOTT [EL]
KJV + EL = When he killed them, then they sought him: And they returned and inquired early after El.
Ps 78,35 UND GEDACHTEN, DASS GOTT [ELOHIM] IHR HORT / FELS IST UND GOTT [EL] DER HÖCHSTE IHR ERLÖSER IST,
KJV + EL = And they remembered that Elohim was their rock, and El Elyon (= the most high) their redeemer.
Ps 78,36 UND HEUCHELTEN MIT IHREM MUNDE UND LOGEN IHM MIT IHRER ZUNGE;
KJV + EL = Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied to him with their tongues.
Ps 78,37 ABER IHR HERZ WAR NICHT FEST AN IHM, UND HIELTEN NICHT TREULICH AN SEINEM BUND.
KJV + EL = For their heart was not right with him, neither were they steadfast in his covenant.
Ps 78,38 Er aber war barmherzig und vergab die Missetat / ihre Ungerechtigkeit und vertilgte sie nicht und wandte oft seinen Zorn ab und ließ nicht seinen ganzen Zorn gehen.
KJV + EL = But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: Yes, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
Ps 78,39 Denn er gedachte, daß sie Fleisch sind, ein Wind, der dahinfährt und nicht wiederkommt.
KJV + EL = For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passes away, and comes not again.
Ps 103,14-16
Ps 78,40 Wie oft erzürnten sie ihn in der Wüste und entrüsteten ihn in der Einöde!
KJV + EL = How often did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
4. Mose 14,22
Ps 78,41 Sie versuchten Gott [El] immer wieder und meisterten / kränkten den Heiligen Israels.
KJV + EL = Yes, they turned back and tempted El, and provoked the Holy One of Israel.
Ps 78,42 Sie gedachten nicht an seine Hand des Tages, da er sie erlöste von den Feinden;
KJV + EL = They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
Ps 78,43 wie er denn seine Zeichen in Ägypten getan hatte und seine Wunder im Lande Zoan;
KJV + EL = How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan:

Ps 78,44 da er ihr Wasser in Blut wandelte, daß sie ihre Bäche nicht trinken konnten;
KJV + EL = And had turned their rivers into blood; and their streams, that they could not drink.
2. Mose 7,19.20
Ps 78,45 da er Ungeziefer unter sie schickte, daß sie fraß, und Frösche, die sie verderbten / zugrunde richteten,
KJV + EL = He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.
2. Mose 8,2.20
Ps 78,46 und gab ihre Gewächse den Raupen / dem Vertilger und ihre Saat den Heuschrecken;
KJV + EL = He gave also their increase to the caterpillar, and their labor to the locust.
2. Mose 10,13
Ps 78,47 da er ihre Weinstöcke mit Hagel schlug und ihre Maulbeerbäume mit Schloßen;
KJV + EL = He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycamore-trees with frost.
2. Mose 9,25
Ps 78,48 da er ihr Vieh schlug mit Hagel und ihre Herden mit Wetterstrahlen / den Blitzen;
KJV + EL = He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.
Ps 78,49 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Er ließ gegen sie los seines Zornes Glut, Wut und Grimm und Drangsal, eine Schar / Sendung von Unglücksengeln.
KJV + EL = He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, a band of angels of evil / avenging angels .
Ps 78,50 da er seinen Zorn ließ fortgehen und ihre Seele vor dem Tode nicht verschonte und übergab ihr Leben der Pestilenz / Pest;
KJV + EL = He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;
2. Mose 9,15
Ps 78,51 da er alle Erstgeburt in Ägypten schlug, die Erstlinge ihrer Kraft in den Hütten Hams,
KJV + EL = And struck all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tents of Ham:
2. Mose 12,29
Ps 78,52 und ließ sein Volk ausziehen wie die Schafe und führte sie wie eine Herde in der Wüste.
KJV + EL = But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.
Ps 77,21
Ps 78,53 Und leitete sie sicher, daß sie sich nicht fürchteten; aber ihre Feinde bedeckte das Meer.
KJV + EL = And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
2. Mose 14,19.22.27
Ps 78,54 Und er brachte sie zu seiner heiligen Grenze / zur Grenze seines Heiligtums, zu diesem Berge, den seine Rechte erworben hat,
KJV + EL = And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.
2. Mose 15,17
Ps 78,55 und vertrieb vor ihnen her die Völker / Nationen und ließ ihnen das Erbe austeilen und ließ in jener Hütten die Stämme Israels wohnen.
KJV + EL = He cast out the nations also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.
Ps 78,56 Aber sie versuchten und erzürnten Gott [Elohim] den Höchsten und hielten ihre Zeugnisse nicht
KJV + EL = Yet they tempted and provoked the Most High Elohim, and kept not his testimonies:
Ps 78,57 und fielen zurück und verachteten alles wie ihre Väter und hielten nicht, gleichwie ein loser Bogen,
KJV + EL = But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.
Hos 7,16
Ps 78,58 und erzürnten ihn mit ihren Höhen [durch den Götzendienst auf den Höhen der Hügel und Berge] und reizten ihn mit ihren Götzen / Götzenbilder.
KJV + EL = For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.
5. Mose 32,21
Ps 78,59 Und da das Gott hörte, entbrannte er und verwarf Israel ganz,
KJV + EL = When Elohim heard this, he was angry, and greatly abhorred Israel:
Ps 78,60 daß er seine Wohnung zu Silo ließ fahren, die Hütte, da er unter Menschen wohnte,
KJV + EL = So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men;
1. Sam 1,3; 4,11
Ps 78,61 und gab seine Macht ins Gefängnis und seine Herrlichkeit in die Hand des Feindes
KJV + EL = And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.
Ps 78,62 und übergab sein Volk ins Schwert und entbrannte über sein Erbe.
KJV + EL = He gave his people over also to the sword; and was angry with his inheritance.
Ps 78,63 Ihre junge Mannschaft fraß das Feuer, und ihre Jungfrauen mußten ungefreit (unvermählt) bleiben / Ihren Jungfraun ward kein Hochzeitslied.
KJV + EL = The fire consumed their young men; and their virgins had no marriage song.
Ps 78,64 Ihre Priester fielen durchs Schwert, und waren keine Witwen, die da weinen sollten.
KJV + EL = Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.
1. Sam 4,17.20
Ps 78,65 Und JAHWEH erwachte wie ein Schlafender, wie ein Starker jauchzt, der vom Wein kommt,
KJV + EL = Then YAHWEH awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouts by reason of wine.
Ps 78,66 und schlug seine Feinde zurück und hängte ihnen ewige Schande an.
KJV + EL = And he struck his enemies backward: He put them to a perpetual reproach.
Ps 78,67 Und er verwarf die Hütte Josephs und erwählte nicht den Stamm Ephraim,
KJV + EL = Moreover he refused the tent of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

Ps 78,68 sondern erwählte den Stamm Juda, den Berg Zion, welchen er liebte.
KJV + EL = But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.
2. Chron 6,6
Ps 78,69 Und baute sein Heiligtum hoch, wie die Erde, die ewiglich fest stehen soll.
KJV + EL = And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he has established forever.
Ps 78,70 Und erwählte seinen Knecht David und nahm ihn von den Schafställen;
KJV + EL = He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
1. Sam 16,11.12
Ps 78,71 von den säugenden Schafen holte er ihn, daß er sein Volk Jakob weiden sollte und sein Erbe Israel.
KJV + EL = From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.
2. Sam 7,8
Ps 78,72 Und er weidete sie auch mit aller Treue (nach der Lauterkeit seines Herzens) und regierte mit allem Fleiß.
KJV + EL = So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.
Psalm 79
Ps 79,1 Ein Psalm Asaphs. O Gott [Elohim], es sind Heiden / Nationen in dein Erbe gefallen; die haben deinen heiligen Tempel verunreinigt und aus Jerusalem Steinhaufen gemacht.
KJV + EL = A Psalm of Asaph. O Elohim, the nations have come into your inheritance; Your holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps.
Ps 79,2 Sie haben die Leichname deiner Knechte den Vögeln zu fressen gegeben und das Fleisch deiner Heiligen den Tieren im Lande.
KJV + EL = The dead bodies of your servants have they given to be food to the birds of heaven, the flesh of your saints to the beasts of the earth.
Ps 79,3 Sie haben Blut vergossen um Jerusalem her wie Wasser; und war niemand, der begrub.
KJV + EL = Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
Ps 79,4 Wir sind unseren Nachbarn eine Schmach / ein Hohn geworden, ein Spott und Hohn / Schimpf denen, die um uns sind.
KJV + EL = We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
Ps 44,14
Ps 79,5 JAHWEH, wie lange willst du so gar zürnen und deinen Eifer wie Feuer brennen lassen?
KJV + EL = How long, YAHWEH? Will you be angry forever? Shall your jealousy burn like fire?
Ps 80,5
Ps 79,6 Schütte deinen Grimm auf die Heiden / Nationen, die dich nicht kennen, und auf die Königreiche, die deinen Namen nicht anrufen.
KJV + EL = Pour out your wrath upon the nations that have not known you, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your name.
Jer 10,25
Ps 79,7 Denn sie haben Jakob aufgefressen und seine Häuser verwüstet.
KJV + EL = For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.
Ps 79,8 Gedenke nicht unserer vorigen Missetaten (= der Vorfahren!) / Rechne uns nicht der Vorfahren Sünden / Ungerechtigkeiten zu!; erbarme dich unser bald, denn wir sind sehr dünn geworden.
